STEP 1: Initial Meeting, Project Review, and Proposal

The initial meeting is a time of introductions and the beginning of a strong relationship. During the Job Review, you explain exactly what you want to accomplish and learn about Mystic River Paintworks’ services. Extensive notes about finishes and colors are taken, and a photo record is started. You will receive a detailed written Proposal that outlines the Project Scope of work and cost.

STEP 2: Proposal Acceptance and Project Scheduling

Once you accept the terms of the Proposal, a tentative start date will be agreed upon. The actual start date can be affected by weather and current job delays. We will keep you informed. Since our busiest months are March through July, it is crucial to plan ahead for spring work.

STEP 3: Project Set-Up Day

This is the day you will meet the Project Supervisor and his crew, and you will have a chance to walk the site with the Supervisor to point out areas of special concern, such as valuable plantings, furniture that needs special handling, location of keys, function of the alarm system, emergency contact information. At this point, the crew will begin work on the Project.

STEP 4: A Typical Day

The crew will arrive on site at 7:15 am to plan the day, and work will start at 7:30 am. The Supervisor will inform you about his plans for the day. Since the repair and priming products we use have to dry or cure before re-coating, it is normal for the men to be working on several different surfaces during the day. The crew will take a short morning and afternoon break, and then start to clean up at 3:15 pm, and leave at 3:30 pm.

STEP 5: Project Completion

A few days before completion, the Supervisor will review the job and create a “Punch List” of items that require attention. Before the crew performs a final clean-up and leaves the job site, the Company Owner and Supervisor will perform a “walk-through” with you to make sure you are fully satisfied. We value our relationship with all our clients and knowing you are pleased with the end result is our top priority.

Thanks again for doing such a great job. Your staff was exceptionally professional and we appreciate Jamie coming on Saturday.
